Logitech CEO: Google TV Based Revue Was A Mistake And We Will Stop Producing Them

Yesterday, Logitech hosted an Analyst and Investor Day and CEO Guerrino De Luca says that his company’s dance with Google TV was a big mistake and announced that it will stop producing the set top boxes. Aircel To Launch iPhone 4S in India on November 24

Aircel has announced a while ago that it will bring iPhone 4S to India on its Facebook page. Even though it has not confirmed the exact date and pricing details, BGR is reporting that November 24 is the likely launch date. BGR also reports that iPhone 4S will be expensive and will start from close to Rs. 40,000 for the 16GB device and over Rs. 50,000 for the 64GB model. Adobe To Stop Mobile Flash Support. Steve Jobs Already Told. Major Blow To Android Device Makers.

In a recent blog post by one of its executives, Adobe said that it would no longer be developing its popular Flash for mobile devices. Instead it would aggressively contribute towards HTML5. Here is the key point from the post - “Our future work with Flash on mobile devices will be focused on enabling Flash developers to package native apps with Adobe AIR for all the major app stores. We will no longer continue to develop Flash Player in the browser to work with new mobile device configurations (chipset, browser, OS version, etc.) following the upcoming release of Flash Player 11.1 for Android and BlackBerry PlayBook. We will of course continue to provide critical bug fixes and security updates for existing device configurations. We will also allow our source code licensees to continue working on and release their own implementations.” ...

HTC Edge: World’s First Quad Core Phone

We have seen many smartphones that are currently powered by dual-core processors, but HTC is making ahead of the race with four cores. This new device could be the HTC Edge reportedly launching in first or second quarter next year. Rumors suggest that this device has a 4.7 HD display, 1GB RAM, 8MP camera, 21Mbps HSDPA networks. AMD To Layoff 1400 Workers

AMD (Advanced Micro Devices) says it is cutting down around 1400 workers from its 12000 employees. AMD is an American multinational semiconductor company that develops computer processors and related technologies.
