First in the Walter Isaacson Steve Jobs biography and then again in a video interview with ABC, but last night Bill Gates once again discussed the final conversations in an interview with 60 Minutes. Microsoft Confirms Windows Blue Update

Microsoft confirms long rumored Windows update - Blue. In a post, Microsoft confirmed that the Windows Blue update will be coming later this year and will allow Windows 8 to run on a number of different sized devices that will be able to combine the capabilities of a PC with some criticisms of Windows 8 and Windows RT. Microsoft’s Tami Reller said in a blog post, “It will deliver the latest new innovations across an increasingly broad array of form factors of all sizes, display, battery life and performance, while creating new opportunities for our ecosystem.” ...

WSJ: Microsoft Reportedly Working On Smartwatch

There has been a lot of ink spilled on rumored offerings expected to be coming from Apple, Samsung, LG and now Microsoft. According to the Wall Street Journal, Microsoft is also working with suppliers on designs for touch enabled watch device. According to the report, Microsoft is working on designs for smart-watch and asked Asian suppliers to send over components. One of the executives who work for the suppliers claims that Microsoft was asking for 1.5 inch displays. ...

First Three Ads For Samsung Galaxy S4

Samsung has posted its first ads for the new Galaxy S 4 smartphone that will be available for pre-order next week. The ads show off a few of the phone’s unique features like its built-in translator and multimedia sharing options. AT&T will begin accepting pre-orders for this smartphone on April 16 starting at $199.99. For some reason, late last month when AT&T announced that it would accept pre-orders, it mentioned that pricing would be $249.99. We’re still waiting for finalized pricing and release dates from the other carriers. ...

Google To Buy WhatsApp For $1 Billion [Rumor]

WhatsApp, the popular cross-platform instant messaging application for smart devices, is rumored to close to negotiating a landmark acquisition deal with Google. Sources reportedly close to the negotiations claim that Google is considering a whopping $1 billion dollars on the popular service had 200 million users, as of March 2013. As expected, T-Mobile finally lands the iPhone. That’s six years after Apple announced first game changing device. The company will start offering iPhone with LTE support starting from April 12, 2013. Now that iPhone (especially iPhone 5) is available on all major US carriers, which carrier offers the best deal? After careful breakdown, looks like, I’m going with T-Mobile down the lane after my contract ends with AT&T. T-Mobile is the clear winner on price — with a 16GB iPhone 5 and two years of service costing nearly $600 less than AT&T and Verizon and nearly $1000 less than Sprint. ...

Next-gen Microsoft Office is codenamed “Gemini”

Windows Blue, Windows Server Blue, Windows Phone Blue, Windows Services Blue. The one thing missing from this list of next-generation Microsoft releases is a Blue version of Office. Temple Run is finally coming to Windows Phone

One of the top mobile games, Temple Run is finally coming to Windows Phone. Microsoft is actually bit late with this popular game. The original Temple Run has more than 170 million downloads since its launch in 2011, and there is already a Temple Run 2 available for play on iOS and Android. Apple Executive Phil Schiller Attacks Android

With less than 24 hours before the launch of the next flagship Android phone (read Galaxy S IV) , Apple executive Phil Schiller made some negative comments about Google’s open source mobile OS; besides bring up the “F” word - fragmentation.
