Apple admits iPhone 4 Reception Problems as ‘Incorrect Signal Display’

According to a press release issued by the company, Apple admits iPhone 4 reception problems as ‘Incorrect Signal Display’. The iPhone 4 doesn’t have a hardware design flaw – it has a software bug. “We were stunned to find that the formula we use to calculate how many bars of signal strength to display is totally wrong,” says Apple. “Our formula, in many instances, mistakenly displays 2 more bars than it should for a given signal strength.” Link to Full Announcement They promise their software update will fix the way the iPhone 4 displays signal bars. Tweets from Steve Jobs on iPhone 4 Incorrect Signal Reception Issues

In the past few days, Steve Jobs tweeted on all the signal reception issues occurring in iPhone 4 devices - in his own way - The best way to fix the weak signal on the new iPhone? Buy a $29.00 Bumper case, only from Apple. The new iPhone has a few tricks hidden up its sleeve. To prevent signal problems with the new iPhone, avoid touching the phone at all times. People who live in houses shouldn’t throw glass phones. What problems? http://bit.ly/iPhone4Problems Oh yeah, everyone’s been holding the mouse wrong too. We may have to recall the new iPhone. This, I did not expect. iPhone 4: Reinventing the way you hold your phone, again. Actually, the new iPhone has no problems. Apple just happens to be issuing a highly-recommended ‘software update’ soon. I find your lack of faith disturbing. We knew there were problems with the new iPhone. Apple was pushed to release it too early. Every time an iPhone rings an angel gets his wings. Some fool who broke his iPhone is taking us to court. Just what I need: a glass action lawsuit. You want a free bumper? Go to a junk yard.
