Wikipedia to open office in India

He told the Indian website, CIOL, that no location had been chosen yet, but the office would open within several months. Europe and Africa had been considered as possible locations. Google launched a music service in India to help users search for legal online streams and downloads, a move aimed at combating rampant digital piracy that has held back the country’s entertainment industry. Apple announces the new MacBook Air

And one more thing… Steve Jobs used his classic line yesterday to announce the new MacBook Air, a refresh of their ultrathin computer with the addition of an 11.6-inch smaller edition at Apple’s Cupertino headquarters in a press event. The updated design is the first major refresh in the MacBook Air’s two and half year life. The casing is now .68 at it’s thickest part and .11 at the very end. The 13-inch’s battery life is now seven hours rather than five hours on the older model even when graded on a more stringent scale. The smaller brother is five hours. Microsoft Unveils “Office 365” - New cloud service

Microsoft announced yesterday the newest implementation of cloud services in the MS Office platform, called Office 365. It is doubling down on its commitment to the cloud with the launch of Office 365, a service that combines Microsoft Office, SharePoint Online, Exchange Online and Lync Online with the cloud. There are two editions of Office 365. Office 365 for Small Businesses is designed for organizations of one to 25 people.
