Twitter ‘onmouseover’ security flaw widely exploited

Twitter which recently gave complete new design to its users (still in rolling phase), got hit by latest XSS bug. Upon mouse hovering a link in a tweet - it doesn’t even ask you to click - you might redirect to any website (spammers are currently using this to redirect to pornographic and gaming websites)! Facebook is building a Phone?

According to TechCrunch’s sources, Facebook is creating its own cellphone. According to the post, they are building the OS and have tied up with a hardware manufacture to build everything else. Specifically, Facebook wants to integrate deeply into the contacts list and other core functions of the phone. It can only do that if it controls the operating system. The blog post describes that two Facebook employees, Joe Hewitt and Matthew Papakipos are leading the charge on the OS, using their previous careers as Firefox browser creator and Chrome OS builder (respectively) to launch something Facebook can be proud of....

Facebook India Office Officially Open

Hot on the heels of Facebook overtaking Orkut as India’s most prominent social network with 21 million vs. 20 million unique visitors in July, the company officially opened its much anticipated office in Hyderabad earlier this week. Facebook Hyderabad is Facebook’s second International office, after Dublin, Ireland and the Indian team will include more sales and operations as well as multi-lingual support staff in order provide round-the-clock international support.
