The company launched Taptitude in March 2011 with simple minigames and have been updating every week with new games and features. As of today, the company has generated over $100,000 of revenue on this game with more than 300,000 users. Microsoft has just announced the final Windows 8 editions that are going to be released in the consumer market. In the official announcement on Windows Team Blog, Microsoft again confirmed that Windows 8 is the official name of this next generation release. In contrast to number of editions available in the previous editions of Windows (even in Windows 7, we have around six editions available in the consumer market), Windows 8 will now be available in only three editions - Windows 8, Windows 8 Pro and Windows RT....

Microsoft just announced that the official product name for its next server operating system as Windows Server 2012. This is the next release after Windows Server 2008 R2 in the server family which is based on Windows Server 8 code name. The new server operating system is expected to be released later this year sometime along with Windows 8. The next version of Microsoft’s Windows Phone operating system after Mango 7.1 is officially renamed as ‘Windows Phone 7.5 Refresh’ – according to the head of Windows Phone division for Microsoft Italy. According to Italian version of the post, 7.5 Refresh update will mostly be an update to the minimum specs of the devices it’ll be able to run (minimum RAM requirements is dropped from 512 MB to 256 MB). Microsoft announced that it will provide a credit to all current Windows Azure customers in response to a system outage due to February 29 leap day bug. The company decided to to provide a 33% credit to all customers of Windows Azure Compute, Access Control, Service Bus and Caching for the entire affected billing months for these services, regardless of whether their service was impacted. Microsoft changed its Windows Logo, an inspired design from its new Metro interface. A day after Apple unveiled its next operating system Mountain Lion, Microsoft announced in an official blog confirmation that it has redesigned the Windows Logo. Well, this is huge! Microsoft’s India online store website has been hacked and all user information which was stored in plain text format without any encryption has also been exposed.
