This is a great success story of a four group of people (?) formed as FourBros Studio LLC who developed a free Windows Phone 7 game - Taptitude. The company launched Taptitude in March 2011 with simple minigames and have been updating every week with new games and features. As of today, the company has generated over $100,000 of revenue on this game with more than 300,000 users. Microsoft has just announced the final Windows 8 editions that are going to be released in the consumer market. In the official announcement on Windows Team Blog, Microsoft again confirmed that Windows 8 is the official name of this next generation release. Microsoft Confirmed 'Windows Server 2012' As The Next Server OS Name

Windows Phone 7.5 Tango Officially Renamed As ‘Refresh’

The next version of Microsoft’s Windows Phone operating system after Mango 7.1 is officially renamed as ‘Windows Phone 7.5 Refresh’ – according to the head of Windows Phone division for Microsoft Italy. According to Italian version of the post, 7.5 Refresh update will mostly be an update to the minimum specs of the devices it’ll be able to run (minimum RAM requirements is dropped from 512 MB to 256 MB). Microsoft Refunds to Azure Leap Day Bug Customers And Drops Pricing

Microsoft announced that it will provide a credit to all current Windows Azure customers in response to a system outage due to February 29 leap day bug. The company decided to to provide a 33% credit to all customers of Windows Azure Compute, Access Control, Service Bus and Caching for the entire affected billing months for these services, regardless of whether their service was impacted.
