Google: Microsoft Is Cheating and Copying Our Search Results

Google set up a sting operation (!) in an attempt to catch Microsoft red-handed stealing their search results in Bing. Interestingly, Bing doesn’t deny this completely. The whole sting operation is amazing and it started from Danny Sullivan’s post and resulting Microsoft’s response on Bing search quality. uld ever enter into Google. Eric Schmidt Stepping Down As Google CEO, Larry Page To Replace Him

Big news from Google yesterday with Eric Schmidt announcing that he will be stepping down as CEO effective April 4th. Larry Page, who served as Google’s first CEO from 1998 to 2001 will take over as CEO. Schmidt will remain on as “Executive Chairman”, where he will focus on deals, partnerships, customers and broader business relations. You Can Now Upload/Play Videos Directly in Google Docs

Google has launched a new feature in Google Docs where you can upload video files and play it directly in the browser. Once you’ve uploaded your video to Google Docs, you can watch it with the Google Docs video player. Simply click the file from your Documents List, and the player opens in a new page. Google now supports common video format files such as .MPEG4, 3GPP and MOV files - (h264 and mpeg4 video codecs and AAC audio codec), AVI, ....

Google releases Android 3.0 Honeycomb video

Google has released an official video on their YouTube channel, unleashing Android 3.0 – designed exclusively for tablets. It’s been pretty much confirmed that 3.0 is Honeycomb. If the video embedded below is anything to go by, the next-generation of Android tablets could pose the first real challenge to Apple iPad (or iPad 2), unlike the current-gen Android tablets like Samsung’s Galaxy Tab. Intex To Launch Android Phone for Rs 5500

After launching first Triple SIM phones, Projector phones in India, Intex Mobiles, an Indian handset brand is to join the Android vogue with a smartphone powered by Froyo (v2.2). The Intex Android smartphone will be equipped with a 3.2 MP camera, 2.8 inch resistive full touch screen, Wi-Fi, GPS. Chrome OS Will Die or Merge With Android

Former Googler, FriendFeed founder Paul Buchheit just tweeted a few hours ago– Prediction: ChromeOS will be killed next year (or “merged” with Android) He continued: ChromeOS has no purpose that isn’t better served by Android (perhaps with a few mods to support a non-touch display). I was thinking, “is this too obvious to even state?”, but then I see people taking ChromeOS seriously, and Google is even shipping devices for some reason....
