Steve Jobs Bronze Statue Unveiled in Hungary [PICTURES]

A company with name ‘GRAPHISOFT’ has commissioned a bronze statue of Steve Jobs in Budapest. Gabor Major, founder of Graphisoft met Jobs in 1984 at a trade show in Germany where the company was demonstrating its 3D modeling software on a Lisa computer. The statue is being sculpted by Hungarian artist Erno Toth and will reside in Graphisoft Park, a Budapest commercial complex that houses several technology companies. [via]

HTC Android Phones Are Being Banned from the US. Apple Won Patent Effective April 2012

When Steve Jobs claimed that Google “stole” Apple’s innovation, today, the United States Trade Commission (ITC) agreed and all those HTC infringing products are banned from the US. This rule applies to several popular HTC products including Evo 4G, Droid Incredible, G2, etc. The rule applies to all Android HTC devices running 1.6 to 2.2 in the United States effective April 2012. HP’s webOS To Be Open Source

Hewlett-Packard (HP) announced that its not so hit platform webOS to be available to the open source community. In a press release that is posted today, the company announced that webOS is the only platform designed from the ground up to be mobile, cloud-connected and scalable.
