Oh, by the way: iOS 4 is now available

In the off chance that you’re not already running the new iPhone firmware update, Apple has released iOS4 to the public for free download. iPhone iOS 4.0 is now officially live and free to download for iPhone 3G, 3GS, iPhone 4 and iPod Touch devices. Currently iOS 4.0 can be downloaded via iTunes 9.2 only and if you have installed iTunes 9.2, be patient until you find a update notification on your system....

Apple developing Flash alternative named Gianduia

As Adobe Flash and Microsoft Silverlight duke it out over their plugin-based, HTML-alternative web platforms, Apple is using Gianduia, its new a client-side, standards based framework for Rich Internet Apps, to create production quality online apps for its retail users. Apple introduced Gianduia last summer at WOWODC (World of WebObjects Developer Conference), an independent event scheduled near the company’s own WWDC event in June. It is likely that more information will surface at this year’s WOWODC and WWDC events....

Leaked Images of the New 4th Generation iPhone HD

Folks over at MacRumors have been tipped with images of what appears to be the the 4th Generation iPhone HD. Interestingly! the images reveal that there is no LED Flash on the back which puts us in a little doubt since our sources believe that it is bound to make an appearance on the new iPhone. There has been quite some amount of speculation as to whether Apple might have plans to bring the aluminum unibody enclosure, as seen on the Macbook and iPad, to the iPhone but there has been no official confirmation on the matter....

Apple to Launch to iPhone 4G on Verizon this Summer

The “iPhone on Verizon” topic is hardly new at all. Earlier this year analysts predicted that AT&T may lose exclusive deal for the iPhone with Apple and that Apple may plan to bring the iPhone to another carrier. The model that has CDMA capability, used by Verizon Wireless, is being manufactured by Pegatron Technology Corp. One person familiar with the situation said Pegatron is scheduled to start mass producing the CDMA iPhones in September, but it was unclear when Apple might make the model available....
