According to TechCrunch, a prominent Facebook fan page has been hacked, defaced and as a result closed now!
The victim? Mark Zuckerberg? The hacker posted on the fan page:
Let the hacking begin: If facebook needs money, instead of going to the banks, why doesn’t Facebook let its users invest in Facebook in a social way? Why not transform Facebook into a ‘social business’ the way Nobel Price winner Muhammad Yunus described it? http://bit.ly/fs6rT3 What do you think? #hackercup2011
Around 1800 people ‘liked’ this post and 438 replied to it by the time TechCrunch took a screenshot of the thread that I’ve reproduced below:
Obviously, Zuckerberg didn’t actually write it. Within hours of the comment’s appearance, Zuckerberg’s fan page disappeared completely from the Facebook network.
Following this Mark’s fan page hack, do you still trust Facebook with your online persona?
