In addition to Microsoft series of many labs (Office Labs, Fused Labs, Dev Labs…), it now added Business Intelligence (BI) Labs to it. These labs are meant for showcasing the technologies which can be later converted into full-fledged commercial products.
BI Labs is a collection of experimental business intelligence projects and useful applications made available from internal sources across Microsoft.

PivotViewer Extension for Microsoft SQL Server Reporting Services
Microsoft SQL Server Data Mining for the Cloud
Fuzzy Lookup Add-in for Microsoft Excel 2010
