1) iOS 4.1 – Apple will release a new version of iOS4, adding a fix for proximity sensor issues, HDR photos, and long-awaited Game Center support. The 4.1 update will be available next week for iPhone and iPod touch (though not all models).

2) iPod Updates: Three New Devices, No More iPod Classic

Apple’s given the shuffle back its buttons, despite the smallest form factor yet. Even more impressive: it’s got 15 hours of battery life, 2GB storage, and a price tag of $50. And I have to admit, it’s kind of adorable.

The new iPod Nano  hardly bigger than an oversized stamp. It does away with the click wheel (and all things video) in favor of a multitouch screen. But how do you use it?

3) iTunes 10 – iTunes 10, coming out soon, has a new logo that drops the CD in the image. iTunes 10 Apple is introducing Ping, a social network for music. It is like “Facebook and Twitter meet iTunes.” You can follow artists and friends to discover what they are talking about, listening to, and sharing. Ping is integrated right into iTunes.

4) The new Apple TV – The new Apple TV is smaller, a fourth the size of the previous version. You can hold it in the palm of your hand. Has HDMI output, and an Ethernet jack, even tho the Apple TV has built in WiFi. Comes with a neat looking remote. There are no more purchases ever on Apple TV, it has gone to the rental model. This solves storage management issues that Steve mentioned before.
